I've been a superintendent for over 15 years, and I've seen a lot. I had pretty much written off any productive work for today due to the mud left behind after the rain. However just when I think I've got things figured out, the crews come rolling in and go to work. Any other place, all I'd hear is how they can't work because it's too muddy, but today they are working together to get things done. The site guy is scraping off the layer of mud so that the steel guys can get around. The concrete crew is cleaning off the road back to the warehouse so they can keep working. No complaining no looking for extras. Awesome stuff.
Most churches feel they need to have a service to dedicate their buildings and "invite" God to come in. In Grace's case, He's already here as a driving force behind this project. It's taken me most of my working career to realize that I only manage sites as His will allows, and it can be really cool to watch Him work.
