Donated  Goods Suggestions

Here are some questions that might help you decide what to do with items you wish to donate.

1. Can  they be used in a ministry?
2. Can  they be used by someone known to be in need?
3. Can  they be used by someone within the church?
4. Can  they be given to an Christian organization Grace supports?
5. Can  they be given to a charitable organization?
6. To just have someone take it away now!

1. Grace Cares Miniseries can use:

• Clothing (in very good  condition) Clothes Closet - Drop off in designated area.
• Currency (any old used bills in any denomination) Offering basket - mark checks/envelopes  “Benevolence”


2. To send items to Grace Cares Leaders Email list to see if we know someone in need  click here

3. Put the items in the Grace Classified ads to see if someone wants them.  Form at http://www.gcconline.org/html/classifieds.html

4. Donations like beds, cars, furniture etc. can be given to the Helping Up Mission homeless shelter or the Salvation Army

5. Donations of various other items can be given to Goodwill Industries, Purple Heart, Amvets etc.

6. Baby furniture like cribs and bassinets contact Laurel Pregnancy Center in Laurel
