Benjamin Franklin once said, "When you’re finished changing, you're finished."
Men's Fraternity at Grace is just a bunch of guys who are committed to the belief that we can still do better because God's not finished with us. Furthermore, we believe that we are better when we are together. So, we've met for two years learning about "Authentic Manhood"from our speaker, Dave Krueger, and from interactions with other men in small groups of 6-8 guys on Wednesday mornings from 6:00-7:30 at Grace Community Church. Most know Dave, but for those who do not, Dave attends Grace and serves with Search Ministries here in Columbia. He also serves as Baseball Chapel Representative to the Baltimore Orioles and Associate Bible Teacher for the PGA Tour Bible Study.
On October 10, 2007 we begin a new 18 week course entitled, “The Great Adventure.” Talk to any of the 400+ men who have been part of the Fraternity during the past three years and you will get a sense of how dynamic and enriching this weekly 90 minute commitment can be for you. (Dave Krueger will teach us from 6:00 am – 7:00 am and then we will break out into small groups for discussion from 7:00 am – 7:30 am).
The teaching and fellowship will benefit men of all ages, but we particularly call out for the younger men of Howard County join us. Learn from what we older men have done right and what we've done wrong and get it right the first time! We cannot promise you success, but we can promise that you will be accepted and welcomed into a small group, that you will be exposed to biblical concepts and ideas that can benefit you in your work and home, and that you will be encouraged to finish strong.
