Volunteer to be on the team!

IT TAKES A TEAM

TEAM COORDINATORS  recruit, train and organize Shepherding, Teaching, Helping and Operations volunteers for a specific age group or program. Call the church office for a current list of leaders in order to serve on a team.
SHEPHERDING volunteers are relational. They are the ones who know the kids the best. They serve as Nursery workers, preschool shepherds or small group leaders. They get to play games with the kids, pray with the kids and hear the Bible teaching with them.
TEACHING volunteers make the Bible come to life for our kids. They may prepare “Hands-on Bible” lessons as part of our preschool and 8:15 classes. Or they may serve as up front emcees for large group programs. Teachers could also be actors or directors as part of our drama teams, or music leaders for kid-style worship.
OPERATIONS volunteers work behind the scenes. They may set up classrooms, run copies, do laundry or wash toys. But they may also be artists who make props and scenery or administrators who maintain database, update schedules, or design publications. They also may be greeters for children and keep attendance rosters. volunteers.

HELPING volunteers have no advanced preparation, but are vital to keeping busy classes safe. They may serve snacks, help with crafts, and checking kids in or out.
SPECIAL NEEDS volunteers are a part of the “A Place for Me” ministry and work one-on-one with children with physical and/or developmental challenges.
Requires application and interview. Please see staff member in the program you are interested in volunteering for.
