Building Bridges is an opportunity to get a Taste of Grace and show the love of God in a physical way to the community. We hope three things will be accomplished; 1.) People will be helped and feel loved, 2.) Participants will have fun working together to help others and get to meet other people in the church. 3.) Jesus, who showed us true love and compassion, will be honored.

On Saturday, October 13, 2007 we are again serving the wonderful Howard County schools with landscaping and beautification projects to make them a little more inviting to both students and staff. We also are inviting people to participate one on one with students who may not have an adult available in their lives in various fun projects.
We are collecting food for FISH food bank and baked goods to present to the Police and Fire Departments as a way to show the gratitude of the community for protecting and serving us all year long. We are collecting clothing for children and families as well as coats and sundries for the Helping Up Mission homeless shelter in Baltimore.
We are also partnering with the Salvation Army to visit nursing homes and the American Red Cross to collect blood.
This year we will all meet at Grace Community Church and then split up in groups to head for the projects.
